Those are words to live by. Your contributions to the air program go far beyond the duties you performed as an ATGS. The professional, calm and organized approach to dealing with fire incidents is your trademark. Hearing your voice on the radio always reassured the pilots that things were going to be done right and that their safety was paramount.
Your colleagues and the pilots that worked under your direction often cite you as the example when questions arise about the best way to conduct aerial firefighting operations.
I know that you will continue to make important contributions to the air program both as an ATGS Officer and as a teacher. Your influence will continue to be of great value to the future of the air program. The many positive contributions you have made will continue to serve CALFIRE and the pilots that count on the ATGS Officers for their very lives.
