First off i would like to say thank you to all of the brave tanker pilots that fly on the fires. I am trying to find the pilot flying lead 49 that was flying during the station fire. after T-11 dumped a door on the runway at fox there were 5 neptunes and lead 49 circling the airport T-43 and lead 49 formed up and flew formation all they way in and the lead 49 came back around and landed. the date was 29 october 09. all i can remember is that he told me he was based out of a base in utah. any help would be great. thanks in advance. see you guys at fox next season.
P.S. if anyone knows the pilots of T-43 will you please let them know i have pictures of the formation landing with lead 49. they can e-mail me at ktmdudeone and i would be more than happy to send them the pictures.
